I have eliminated 95% of my previous mapping code, and future mapping code. I hope to be presenting on AutoMapper soon.

One issue though is a lack of offline documentation. If the developer can send me the documentation available on the project home page, I will compile it into a downloadable CHM or PDF file and return that file to him.

Reviewed: 1.1 RTW (Jun 20, 2011)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Thank you! This helps me minimize lots of duplicate code and is so easy to use!! :)

Reviewed: 1.1 RTW (Apr 26, 2011)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Excellent tool, full integration between WPF MVVM and EF4,
Thanks

Reviewed: 1.1 RTW (Mar 21, 2011)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Works brilliantly for me. Its nice to be able to add custom code converters. Thanks! The only concern we've found is performance (specifically processor consumption). Our team used it to expose simpler (and lighter) versions of EF entities from the service layer to a Silverlight client, and performance tests in scenarios with heavy concurrency were really bad. Solved it with caching (after mapping) but this isn't always an option.

Reviewed: 1.1 RTW (Feb 18, 2011)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Good show!

Got us out of a fix with WCF Serialisation & NHibernate proxies; decoupling the database model from a module's model in a few lines of code. Now that we're doing the same for WCF service models, we're very happy to have found Automapper. Addresses a very common problem in a deceptively simple way. The dnr TV video interview is very good. Really appreciate how well the different motivations and use cases were explored. There is no XML doc file because there is no commenting on the methods.
